Secretly Canadian are proud to announce the addition of
I Love You But I’ve Chosen Darkness (Austin, TX) to its roster

Formed in 2001, Austin, TX’s I Love You But I’ve Chosen Darkness have been flirting with “Next Big Thing” status since their critically acclaimed 2003 self-titled EP, produced by Britt Daniel. The band is currently at work on their debut full-length at the Mob House in Austin. Secretly Canadian and Chosen Darkness will release this new album to be produced by Paul Barker (Ministry, Lard) and tentatively slated in early 2006. In a recent Austin Chronicle interview Christian Goyer (vocal/guitar) shed light on these new recordings stating that they will yield richer textures, different percussion, and more keyboard and electronic sounds than on the self-titled EP. The band will soon join Mission of Burma in Austin on July 15th to play Emo’s 13th Anniversary celebration.
