NIKKI SUDDEN Coming To America, Recording New Album, Writing Autobiography

Taking a break from recording his latest solo album The Truth Doesn’t Matter, NIKKI SUDDEN will be playing a few weeks worth of solo dates in the US later this month and in March. He’ll be showcasing new songs from his upcoming full-length, as well as from his massive 30-year body of work. Stay tuned to our tourdates page for his updated schedule. As if that wouldn’t keep a man busy, he’s also “99% finished” with his autobiography entitled The Last Bandit. As a founding member of Swell Maps, the Jacobites and having penned over a dozen classic albums, we know that Mr. Sudden’s bio is going to be a rich read. Finally, Nikki’s foray into films has begun: 8 of his songs were featured in Mika Kaurismaki’s film Honey Baby, he acted in the film The Pacific and Eddy (see him in the trailer with Dominique Swain and Ryan Donowho), and he’s written a song for the film The Favor by Mexican filmmaker Eva Aridjis.
