Secretly Canadian SXSW Happenings

On Saturday, March 18th, Secretly Canadian and Jagjaguwar will host a showcase at EMO’s ANNEX during the SXSW Music Festival. Magnolia Electric Co. headlines the showcase, and Catfish Haven, Richard Swift, I Love You But I’ve Chosen Darkness and Swearing At Motorists will perform as well. The lineup is as follows:

7:30 – Catfish Haven

9:15 – Richard Swift
10:15 – Pink Mountaintops
11:15 – I Love You But I’ve Chosen Darkness
12:15 – Okkervil River
1:15 – Magnolia Electric Co.

Richard Swift and Horns of Happiness will make appearances from 2-4pm on Friday, March 17th at End of an Ear Records. The Horns of Happiness will also perform on Friday, March 17th at Emo’s IV with the likes of Frog Eyes, Castanets and Psychic Ills:

On Thursday, March 16th, Damien Jurado performs the Made In Mexico Showcase at Redrum (1am).

Racebannon make two stops at SXSW, March 17th at Lava Lounge Patio (12:45am) and March 18th at Snake Eyes Vinyl (instore).
