An unholy trinity of bummers has put Jason Molina in the unfortunate position of having to cancel the US tour with Will Johnson planned for January and February. It’s with the deepest, sincerest apologies to Will, the band, fans, promoters that this decision was reached. In the band-as-family spirit, this is akin to a family emergency. And while it’s a tough call, there is very necessary healing that need be done. Molina, having only been at home for a month following Magnolia Electric Co.’s European tour, offered these words: “It is funny that the road isn’t what nearly killed me, it was not being on the road.”
