The War On Drugs at Wrigley

It was a sunny July day in Chicago. After a long night of festivities following the opening day of Pitchfork Festival, Adam and Mike from The War On Drugs, myself, and some colleagues here at the label dragged ourselves and our hangovers up to Wrigleyville to see the Cubbies play. The Cubs lost that day, but it was still a killer afternoon in the sun as we were all treated to the esteemed privilege of actually stepping out onto the field at Wrigley.

Today marks an equally joyous occasion as I have the honor of announcing The War On Drugs first release since Wagonwheel Blues marked their debut two years ago. On October 26 Future Weather featuring eight new jams from the Drugs will be available in digital and LP formats. Check out the album artwork, track listing below, as well as the new single “Comin’ Through,” a hazy late summer show stopper that just begs for a session of kickin’ it on the porch with a cold beer.
