Damien Jurado Performs For The Pumphouse Sessions at Pickathon 2011

Pickathon started as a small, rootsy festival in the countryside outside Portland, OR, but has grown into so much more. The festival’s crowds keep growing every year and the line ups get better and better. This past summer, Live and Breathing set up a small studio in the back woods of the festival’s grounds and recorded the Pumphouse Sessions, a series of stripped down sets from performers at the festival. Damien Jurado recorded one with the group and it came out absolutley perfect. Check out the video now and stay tuned for his next album, Maraqopa, out February 21.
