ALBUM RELEASE // Porcelain Raft ‘Permanent Signal’ Out Today

Porcelain Raft fans, your wait is over. The band’s sophomore album, Permanent Signal is out today! The album includes some fantastic collaborators including Yuck‘s Jonny Rogoff on drums, Antlers‘ bassist Darby Cicci (who also contributed double vocals and trumpet, and engineered the sessions in his Brooklyn studio), and cellist Gaspar Claus (frequent collaborator with Sufjan Stevens and Bryce Dessner of The National).

Read more below to get buy links for Permanent Signal, see dates for Porcelain Raft’s US and UK tour, and watch the beautiful, buzzed about one-shot video for “The Way Out” by director Michael Lawrence that Stereogum called a “cinematic, conceptual affair”.

Permanent Signal is now available on Amazon, iTunes, your local record store, and Secretly Canadian.

The first critics have weighed in on Permanent Signal:

“It’s woozy, dreamlike bliss and Mauro Remmidi owns it well”

- HANNAH PHILLIPS for THIS IS FAKE DIY

“Permanent Signal finds beauty in loneliness…his real speciality lies in making the machine sound vulnerable and human”

- MATTHEW HORTON for NME

“that permanent signal he’s so earnestly trying to communicate still comes through loud and clear”

- J. PACE for UNDER THE RADAR
