The song is a true story of Luke’s friend who lost her father and later developed a problem with cocaine, as Luke says, “My friend was going through a tough time…I was feeling for her and wrote this song.” The laid back and seductive bass line drives the song which ends with with Luke’s chorus in multi track beauty. If you missed his cover of Curtis Mayfield’s “Suffer“, or his first release, “Katie“, from the new album, definitely take a listen!
