Luke Temple & Eliot Krimsky Cover Curtis Mayfield’s “Suffer”, Album Release Show at LPR October 14

Today we present a pretty sweet gift to Luke Temple and Curtis Mayfield fans alike. Listen to Luke Temple and Here We Go Magic bandmate, Eliot Krimsky (also of Glass Ghost) cover Curtis Mayfield‘s “Suffer” ABOVE or on YouTube HERE.

The cover, originally part of Temple’s live show, is an appropriate preview of Luke’s new solo album, Good Mood Fool out October 15th. The new album shows Temple at his most minimalistic utilizing only his voice, a drum machine, a bass guitar, and a Juno-1 synth to produce the soulful and sultry sounds of his fifth solo album.

On the song, Temple says, “It’s nice to remind – and in some cases introduce – an amazing song to people. Curtis makes your heart sing even if it’s a song about regret.”

Pre-order Good Mood Fool now from SCD, Amazon, iTunes and your local record store.

To celebrate the new album, Temple will play a special album release show at Le Poisson Rouge in New York City on October 14th!

SUUNS – IMAGES DU FUTUR

“Images Du Futur is exciting in a way that few albums manage to be, dangerous and compelling like a first cigarette or fumbled sexual encounter, and nothing here quite seems real: these ten tracks exist in a half-light, a nocturnal fog a step removed from lucid thought. And a long, long way from anything routine.”The Line of Best Fit

“On an album that rarely shakes off its shroud of unease, Suuns paint a pretty bleak picture of all our tomorrows, but their own dazzling ‘…Futur’ looks assured.”NME

“So it is with great excitement that we receive their second LP offering, Images Du Futur, which builds on the ‘Bambi’/’Red Song’ energy and presents us with a refined image of what terrifying power Suuns are capable of.”KEXP

“Images du Futur is a heavy, slow rock album that will be jarring for those expecting big hooks, but it’s also rewarding for anyone willing to formulate their own interpretation.”Montreal Gazette
