SINGLE ANNOUNCE // Woman’s Hour Announces 7″ Single ‘Her Ghost’ Out March 24th, EU / US Tour Starts Tonight

We are pleased to announce new Secretly Canadian artist Woman’s Hour. The group, named the 6th most blogged band of the year according to 6 Music and Hype Machine also won praise from Pitchfork calling them “Reminiscent of Beach House’s darkly quixotic work, saturated with fragility and painful longing,” and The Line Of Best Fit writing, “Woman’s Hour are the architects of the most intelligent new music we’ve heard this year.”

Listen to the single above or on our YouTube channel / Soundcloud page.

Get Her Ghost now digitally on iTunes, or pre-order the physical 7″ via Rough Trade and only in the UK.

Love for A Different Ship

“With A Different Ship, Here We Go Magic has clearly and undeniably arrived at the port of entry to indie rock’s pantheon of top shelf acts – an utterly shattering release that anyone who likes forward-thinking music must have.” - PopMatters

“Here We Go Magic loves the way a pattern promises the stability and control that Mr. Temple’s lyrics are never sure of…The album discreetly shows off the band’s meticulous virtuosity; its patterns are played, not programmed.”The New York Times

“Played live these songs will metastasise into expansive jams, and will sound great when they do, but here and now they’re sharp, disciplined, and seriously compelling.”BBC

Yeasayer made their BBC TV debut back in 2008, and this week they returned to “Later Live with Jools Holland.” Here they are playing ”Ambling Alp,” which aired on the show Tuesday night. I think the fresh flowers on the keyboard are a nice touch!

Yeasayer are on tour in Europe through July. See the list of dates below.
