WATCH // Woman’s Hour Share “Conversations” Video Via FADER, New ‘Conversations’ Album Out July 21st (15th US)

London four-piece Woman’s Hour have released a new music video for ‘Conversations’, the title-track from their debut album released 21st July (15th US) on Secretly Canadian. Premiering via FADER this morning, Watch the video above or here on their YouTube / Vevo.

Directed by Frank and Jane, the video follows the beautiful monochrome aesthetic shown by the band on previous videos and their album art. The new video is their take on ‘Group Primary Accumulation’ (1973), a performance piece by the celebrated American choreographer Trisha Brown. “We are four non-dancers engaged in a conversation with ourselves. Separately together. The video highlights this isolation. Four people silently moving in sync.” says lead singer Fiona Burgess, who came across the piece while touring in America earlier this year.

Pre-order Conversations via iTunes, Amazon, SC Distribution / deluxe bundle, and your local record store.

See the band this summer play festivals including Field Day this weekend, Bestival, Green Man and Latitude. In September they then play their biggest London headline show to date on September 23rd at Village Underground.

Happy Release Day // Dungeonesse’s Debut Album Out Today

Dungeonesse’s debut album is out today! You can purchase your very own copy at SC Distribution, iTunes, Amazon or your local record store. There’s no denying this record is perfect for your summer nights; rooftop hangs and sweaty dance parties alike, DUNGEONESSE is meant to be played on repeat.

“Fortunately, Wasner and White Lie’s Jon Ehrens acquit themselves gorgeously on Dungeonesse’s self-titled debut….Even at its most minor, the record offers a refreshing reprieve from the dark side of R&B revivalism, rescuing the genre from the brink of self-parody and establishing Wasner as one of music’s most malleable talents.”A.V.
