DAVID VANDERVELDE touring Europe for 3 weeks, beginning Sept. 15

DAVID VANDERVELDE will be hitting the road with his new 5-piece band, beginning in mid-September. The band will be embarking upon an extensive tour of Europe, beginning with an inaugural appearance at the End Of The Road festival in Wiltshire, UK. Come hear the tunes that that NME calls “eight pristine pop songs (that) recall the best of T. Rex, ELO or early Bee Gees…”

Antony’s collaboration with William Basinski has been installed at the Belsay Manor in Northumberland, UK. We hope you get a chance to see it; it’s quite an adventurous soundtrack for the cellars underneath the manor, a 20 minute piece full of twists and turns. A part of the manor’s annual installation, the exhibition is open to the public for this summer.

DANIELSON announce Scandinavian tour

There’s a magnetic force that pulls us toward Scandinavia. DANIELSON, too, feels this pull. This summer the band will pack up and take heed, playing in some of their favorite cities there on a Scandinavian tour, whose dates have just been announced:

SWEARING AT MOTORISTS Tour Germany/Austria/Switzerland

After rocking the US, the world’s local band SWEARING AT MOTORISTS will extend their touring schedule to include two weeks in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with Berlin’s JULIA HUMMER & TOO MANY BOYS. See the tourdates page for updated tourdates. The tour kicks off on April 25 in Dresden.

THE EARLIES transmit first Enemy Broadcast, announce Euro tour dates

In anticipation of their new album, JM Lapham of The Earlies has prepared the first Enemy Broadcast – a special 15-minute continuous mix which includes elements of all 10 tracks on the new album. The Enemy Broadcast is featured as the latest installment of the Secretly Canadian Podcast.
