Suuns’ Bambi b/w Red Song 12″ out TODAY

The 12″ with two new songs from Suuns is out today on Secretly Canadian. “Bambi” is a creepy story of love lost and found, while “Red Song” is just that: a song about color. You can cop the vinyl from SC Distribution.

You can also check out the band’s remix of the Glasser song “Mirrorage” at FACT Magazine or download here. And don’t miss the band on their European tour that starts this week. They’ll play NYC with the Antlers on December 10th. All dates are listed here.

Jens Lekman An Argument With Myself EP out today!

It’s here! The new Jens Lekman EP is finally here! An Argument With Myself is available today for one and all. RCRD LBL says the title track is “Lekman at his catchiest…crossing a poppier conception of Paul Simon with expectedly hilarious lyrics,” and Cokemachineglow says it “rank[s] with some of his most beautiful and affecting work. The verses, smooth and chiming, impart Lekman’s special brand of barely-contained melancholy…” You can order it now right here. And you can stream the whole thing on AOL Spinner’s Listening Party.

Jens will also be on tour starting next week in Los Angeles and going through the end of October across the US and Europe. He’ll have both clear vinyl and picture disc ersion of the EP with him so be sure to keep an eye out. (You didn’t come here for nothing did you?)

Damien Jurado Release Day Celebration!

Happy Saint Bartlett Day! There are two big Damien Jurado events to kick off the release today in Seattle.

First is a live in-studio performance at KEXP at noon PST / 3pm EST during the Midday show with Cheryl Waters.  It’s easy as pie to tune in at itunes or at their site.
