I Love You But I’ve Chosen Darkness

Hailing from Austin, Texas, I Love You But I’ve Chosen Darkness coalesced in the early 2000s around Christian Goyer and Jason McNeely along with Ernest Salaz, Tim White and Edward Robert. Inhabiting the same sene as Windsor for the Derby, Explosions in the Sky, and Spoon, ILYBICD debuted with their 2003 self-titled EP (produced by Spoon’s Britt Daniel). Followed up by 2005’s full length Fear Is On Our Side – produced by former Ministry bassist Paul Barker – the band toured consistently in North America and Europe. After a hiatus, the band re-emerged with 2014’s Dust.
