A week ahead of the release of their eagerly anticipated self-titled debut album, She-Devils are pleased to share the new video for “Hey Boy.” The duo directed the video themselves, as with all of their videos, and this focused vision creates a style that is very much in tune with the song.
Today’s the day! Montreal duo She-Devils‘ self-titled debut LP is out in the world today. The music is built from original sonics inspired by everything from Iggy Pop to Madonna to T-Rex to Can, as well as the romantic longing of ’60s pop.
Today, Whitney unveiled the video for “You’ve Got A Woman,” a reinterpretation of the original by ’70s cult band Lion. The video is taken from their new covers 12″ also featuring Dolly Parton‘s “Gonna Hurry (As Slow As I Can).”

She-Devils are excited to announce their self-titled debut album on Secretly Canadian out May 19th. Along with the announcement, they’re sharing a brand new single titled “Hey Boy.” The song fuses surf guitar with swirling sonics from Kyle Jukka and Audrey Ann Boucher‘s preternatural voice.

Jens Lekman has shared the official video for his new single “How We Met, the Long Version.” In the video, Jens dances, sings and strums his guitar in front of a backdrop of the galaxy. Its fitting for a song where Lekman sings about “A Cambrian explosion,” likening it to love at first sight.
Montreal duo She-Devils is excited to announce its signing to Secretly Canadian and share a brand new single, “The World Laughs,” along with an official video. Through primitive electronic gear, hypnotist vocals, and an “amusement park of sounds,” the duo of Audrey Ann Boucher and Kyle Jukka constructs a fun-house world of beautiful chaos.
ANOHNI will release “PARADISE,” the companion EP to last year’s HOPELESSNESS, on March 17th via Secretly Canadian and Rough Trade. A collaboration with Oneohtrix Point Never and Hudson Mohawke, the “Paradise” EP seeks to support activist conversations and disrupt assumptions about popular music through the collision of electronic sound and highly politicized lyrics.
