Inland Empire rapper AUNDREY GUILLAUME. shares his second EP today, Energy out now via Secretly Canadian. In the triumphant follow up to to first EP Violet, Energy finds AUNDREY in a place of cautionary optimism. From introspective tracks like “Refund” to hard hitting bass lines of “Combo” GUILLAUME.’s compelling authenticity on Energy is palpable. Speaking on the EP, AUNDREY says, “After completing my first EP Violet, the mood is more celebratory, but still cautious of the trappings this new found attention gets me. ENERGY is about taking that feeling and thriving in it.”

The youngest of nine children, AUNDREY fell in love with music early when his father put him on the drums at Church where he would perform with his other siblings. These church performances equipped AUNDREY against criticism and turned him into a perfectionist early on. 2021 brought us AUNDREY’s debut EP Violet, where he vulnerably documents the long-winded journey that brought him where he is today and earned him attention from Pigeons and Planes. Now, we see the young rapper ripping off the bandages from old wounds and laying the scars out for all to see.
